Terms of Service

Last updated: September 1, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Industrial Coding LTD, which operates ClickRoles. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, write to support@clickroles.com and ask — a term you did not understand is a term we wrote badly.

Accepting these terms

Creating an account, or using ClickRoles at all, means you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you are using ClickRoles for an organisation, you are confirming you may accept these terms on its behalf.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your login, including anything done by someone you shared it with and anything done by software acting with your credentials. Keep your password and your session to yourself, and tell us at support@clickroles.com if you think someone else has them.

One account is one person. You may not share a login across several people to avoid paying for more than one subscription.

You can delete your account from Settings at any time. Deletion removes your applications, documents, notes and account record; what survives, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Plans, payment and cancellation

Free costs nothing and requires no card. Pro is a recurring subscription, billed in advance through Stripe. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay; taxes may be added where the law requires it.

Renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling takes one click in Billing, which opens Stripe's own portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep Pro until then, and you are not billed again.

Refunds. We do not refund part-used periods as a rule, because you had the service for that period. We are not rigid about it: if you were charged for something you did not get, or the service was unusable for a stretch of your subscription, write to support@clickroles.com and we will sort it out. Nothing here removes a refund or cancellation right you have by law in your country.

Price changes. We may change the price of a plan. If we do, we will tell the affected subscribers by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the new price applies from your next renewal. Cancelling before that renewal means you never pay it.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it over a period of days. If it keeps failing, the subscription ends and the account returns to Free. Your data is not deleted when this happens.

AI features, and the limits on them

ClickRoles uses third-party AI models to score resumes against job descriptions, draft cover letters and outreach emails, produce keyword reports and interview prep, and propose tailored resumes. Each of those runs is one AI action, and every plan has a ceiling on how many you get.

Free: 5 AI actions per rolling 30 days. Not a calendar month — each action stops counting exactly 30 days after you used it. Support can add to this allowance; if we have, the app says so when you run out.

Pro: 100 AI actions per day, resetting at midnight UTC. This is a fair-use limit rather than a ration. It exists so that a runaway script, a shared login or a stolen session cannot spend an unbounded amount of AI on your account or ours, and it is set well above what a real job search uses: scoring every new job, drafting several emails and tailoring a few resumes in one sitting is normally under twenty actions.

What happens when you reach it. The action is refused before anything is generated, so it costs you nothing. You are told which limit you hit and when it resets. On a paid plan we are also told automatically, once per person per day, so that we can raise your ceiling rather than leave you waiting — and you can ask us to at support@clickroles.com. We would rather raise it than have you blocked mid-search.

We may change these numbers. If we lower a limit in a way that materially reduces what a paid plan gives you, we will email affected subscribers at least 30 days beforehand, and you may cancel before it takes effect. Raising a limit, or raising one for you individually, needs no notice.

Deleting things does not refund actions. Usage is counted from a ledger of AI runs, not from the jobs they were run against. Deleting a scored job does not give the action back — otherwise the limit could be reset at will.

What the AI produces is a draft

Everything the AI writes is a starting point, not a finished document. Match scores are estimates, not predictions. Drafts can be wrong, awkward, or unsuitable for the specific employer, and models change underneath us without notice.

We build these features to quote your own resume rather than invent experience, and we treat a fabricated claim as a bug. We still cannot guarantee that every generated sentence is accurate about you. Read anything before you send it. You are responsible for what you submit to an employer under your own name, and for anything that follows from it.

ClickRoles does not give career, legal, immigration or financial advice, and no output from it should be read as any of those.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • automate the service — scripting, scraping, or driving the API or extension with anything other than a person using the app — or work around any rate limit or usage ceiling, including by creating extra accounts;
  • resell the service, or use it to run a resume-writing or application service for other people, without a written agreement with us;
  • upload content you have no right to upload, or another person's personal data without a lawful basis for putting it here;
  • use the AI features to produce material that is unlawful, harassing, or deliberately deceptive about who you are or what you have done;
  • probe, scan, or attempt to breach the service, another user's account, or our providers' systems;
  • use the extension to interact with a job board in a way that breaks that board's own terms.

If you find a security problem, tell us at support@clickroles.com before you tell anyone else. We will not pursue you for a good-faith report.

Your content

What you put into ClickRoles — your applications, resumes, notes and documents — stays yours. We claim no ownership of it.

You give us permission to store, process and transmit it strictly to run the service for you: to show it back to you, to send it to an AI provider when you ask for a generation, and to back it up. Nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not use it to train models, and we do not show it to anyone but you and the people you deliberately share a board with.

The browser extension

The extension reads a job page only when you ask it to save one, and it holds your ClickRoles session so it can write to your account. What it can and cannot see is described in the Privacy Policy, and the description there is the contract.

Job boards change their pages without telling anyone. When one does, capture from that board can break until we fix it. We report those breakages to ourselves and repair them, but we do not promise that any particular board works on any particular day.

Availability, and changes to the service

We aim to keep ClickRoles running and we watch it, but this is not a service with an uptime guarantee, and these terms do not offer one. Maintenance, provider outages and our own mistakes will occasionally interrupt it.

We add, change and remove features. If we remove something a paid plan was sold on, we will tell affected subscribers by email at least 30 days beforehand, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks the acceptable-use rules above, that is being used to defraud us or a payment provider, or that we are required to act on by law. Where the circumstances allow it we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right; where they do not — an account actively attacking the service, for instance — we will act first and tell you after.

If we close your account for something you did not do, or we get it wrong, write to support@clickroles.com. If we close a paid account other than for a breach by you, we refund the unused part of the period.

You can close your own account at any time, for any reason, without telling us why.

What we do not promise

ClickRoles is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, Industrial Coding LTD disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

In plainer words: we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that AI output will be accurate or suitable for the employer you send it to, or that any board capture will keep working after that board changes its pages. Above all we do not promise that using ClickRoles will get you a job.

Some states and countries do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here removes a right you have under consumer law that cannot be removed by agreement; where such a right applies, it applies.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, neither Industrial Coding LTD nor anyone working with us is liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or opportunities, for a job you did not get, or for data you lost that you had no other copy of.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you for everything arising out of these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or fifty US dollars (US$50).

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We will change this page as the product changes. When a change materially affects your rights or what you are paying for, we will email registered users at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use ClickRoles after that date means you accept the new version; if you do not, cancel and close your account.

Corrections that do not change anything of substance — a broken link, a clearer sentence — we make without notice.

We record which version of these terms you accepted when you created your account, and when. If you want to know what you agreed to, ask us at support@clickroles.com and we will tell you.

Law, and everything else

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Colorado have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. You and we each consent to that venue.

If you are a consumer outside the United States, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory law of the country you live in, or of the right to bring a claim in your local courts where that law gives you one. Saying otherwise would not make it true.

Before filing anything, please write to support@clickroles.com. Most disputes about a charge or an account turn out to be a mistake one of us can fix in a day.

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing something once does not waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours if the business is sold, and you would be told.

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about ClickRoles.
