Billing questions

- How does the free trial work?
- Pro starts with a 7-day free trial on an account's first subscription. Nothing is charged until the trial ends, and cancelling before then from Billing costs nothing. A later subscription on the same account starts without a trial.
- What is the difference between monthly and yearly?
- The same Pro. Monthly is $19.95 each month; yearly is $199 once a year, which works out to $16.58/mo, or 2 months free against paying monthly.
- What counts as an AI action?
- One resume match score, one cover letter, one outreach email or one tailoring draft. Free gets 10 of these over a rolling 30 days, shared across all four. Pro gets 100 a day, a fair-use ceiling that resets at midnight UTC.
- Do I need a card for the Free plan?
- No. Free is free without a card, and it does not expire.
- How do I cancel?
- From Billing, which opens Stripe's own portal. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. No email, no retention call.
